But those who have feared their Lord – for them are chambers, above them chambers built high, beneath which rivers flow. [This is] the promise of Allah. Allah does not fail in [His] promise.

[Surah az Zumar s.39 v.20]

Sahl b.

I was in the company of Allah’s Messenger that he gave a description of Paradise and then Allah’s Apostle concluded with these words: There would be bounties which the eye has not seen and the ear has not heard and no human heart has ever perceived them. He then recited this verse:” They forsake (their) beds, calling upon their Lord in fear and in hope, and spend out of what We have given them. So no soul knows what refreshment of the eyes is hidden for them: a reward for what they did”

[Sahih Muslim # 2825]

O you who have believed, protect yourselves and your families from a Fire whose fuel is people and stones, over which are [appointed] angels, harsh and severe; they do not disobey Allah in what He commands them but do what they are commanded.

[Surah Tahrim s.66 v.6]

The Messenger of Allah said :

Hell would be brought on that day (the Day of Judgment) with seventy thousand bridles, and seventy thousand angels dragging each bridle.

[Sahih Muslim # 2842]

Allah’s Apostle as saying:

The fire which sons of Adam burn is only one-seventieth part of the Fire of Hell. His Companions said: By Allah, even ordinary fire would have been enough (to burn people). Thereupon he said: It is sixty-nine parts in excess of (the heat of) fire in this world each of them being equivalent to their heat.

[Sahih Muslim # 2843]

Indeed, those who have believed and done righteous deeds – indeed, We will not allow to be lost the reward of any who did well in deeds.

Those will have gardens of perpetual residence; beneath them rivers will flow. They will be adorned therein with bracelets of gold and will wear green garments of fine silk and brocade, reclining therein on adorned couches. Excellent is the reward, and good is the resting place.

[Surah Al Kahf s.18 v.30-31]

Abu Huraira رضي الله عنه reported Allah’s Apostle as saying:

« He who would get into Paradise (would be made to enjoy such an everlasting) bliss that he would neither become destitute, nor would his clothes wear out, nor his youth would decline. »

[Sahih Muslim # 2836]

Indeed, We have prepared for the wrongdoers a fire whose walls will surround them. And if they call for relief, they will be relieved with water like murky oil, which scalds [their] faces. Wretched is the drink, and evil is the resting place.

[Surah al Kahf s.18 v.29]

For them there will be no food except from a poisonous, thorny plant, which neither nourishes nor avails against hunger.

[Surah al Ghashiyah s.88 v.6-7]

[You] who believed in Our verses and were Muslims.

Enter Paradise, you and your kinds, delighted.”

Circulated among them will be plates and vessels of gold. And therein is whatever the souls desire and [what] delights the eyes, and you will abide therein eternally.

[Surah az Zukhruf s.43 v.69-71]

[For them are] gardens of perpetual residence which they will enter. They will be adorned therein with bracelets of gold and pearls, and their garments therein will be silk.

[Surah Fatir s.35 v.33]

Before him is Hell, and he will be given a drink of purulent water. He will gulp it but will hardly [be able to] swallow it. And death will come to him from everywhere, but he is not to die. And before him is a massive punishment.

[Surah Ibrahim s.14 v.16-17]

The Messenger of Allah said:

« Verily the least suffering for the inhabitants of Fire would be for him who would have two shoes and two laces of Fire (on his feet), and with these would boil his brain as boils the cooking vessel, and he would think that he would not see anyone in a more grievous torment than him, whereas he would be in the least torment. »

[Sahih Muslim # 213]

The Messenger of Allah said :

« [Paradise is made of] Bricks of silver and bricks of gold. Its mortar is musk of a strong fragrance, and its pebbles are pearls and rubies, and its earth is saffron. Whoever enters it shall live and shall not suffer, and shall feel joy and shall not die, nor shall their clothes wear out, nor shall their youth come to an end. »

[Musnad Ahmad Vol.2 # 305]

The Messenger of Allah said:

«Indeed in Paradise there is a sea of water, and a sea of honey, and a sea of milk, and a sea of wine, then the rivers shall split off afterwards.»

[Jami’ at Tirmidhi # 2571]

« We were in the company of Allah’s Messenger that we heard a terrible sound. Thereupon the Prophet said: « Do you know what (sound) is this? » We said: « Allah and His Messenger know best. » Thereupon he said: « That is a stone which was thrown seventy years before in Hell and it has’been constantly slipping down and now it has reached its base. »»

[Sahih Muslim # 2844]

Indeed, those who disbelieve in Our verses – We will drive them into a Fire. Every time their skins are roasted through We will replace them with other skins so they may taste the punishment. Indeed, Allah is ever Exalted in Might and Wise.

[Surah an Nisa s.4 v.56]

Abu Ayyub رضي الله عنه narrated that a Bedouin came to the Prophet and said:

“O Messenger of Allah, indeed, I love horses. Are there horses in Paradise?” The Messenger of Allah said: “If you are admitted into Paradise, you shall be brought a horse of rubies with two wings, then you shall be carried on it, then it will fly with you wherever you want.”

[Jami’ at Tirmidhi # 2544, Sahih Targhib # 3757]

Abu Hurayrah رضي الله عنه narated that the Messenger of Allah said: « There is not a tree in Paradise except that its trunk is of gold. »

[Jami’ at Tirmidhi # 2525, At-Targhîb wa at-Tarhîb 4/522]

On the Day We will say to Hell, “Have you been filled?” and it will say, “Are there some more,”

[Surah Qaf s.50 v.30]

Is Paradise a better accommodation or the tree of zaqqum? Indeed, We have made it a torment for the wrongdoers. Indeed, it is a tree issuing from the bottom of the Hellfire, Its emerging fruit as if it was heads of the devils. And indeed, they will eat from it and fill with it their bellies. Then indeed, they will have after it a mixture of scalding water.

[Surah as Saffat s.37 v.62-67]

The Jew said: What would constitute their breakfast when they would enter Paradise? He replied: A caul of the fish-liver. He (the Jew) said. What would be their food after this? He said: A bullock which was fed in the different quarters of Paradise would be slaughtered for them. He (the Jew) said: What would be their drink? He said: They would be given drink from the fountain which is named” Salsabil”. He (the jew) said : « You have told the truth ».

[Sahih Muslim # 315]

Jabir reported:

I heard the Prophet as saying that the inmates of Paradise would eat and drink but would neither spit, nor pass water, nor void excrement, nor suffer catarrah. It was said: Then, what would happen with food? Thereupon he said: They would belch and sweat (and it would be over with their food), and their sweat would be that of musk and they would glorify and praise Allah as easily as you breathe.

[Sahih Muslim # 2835]

But those who disbelieved will have cut out for them garments of fire. Poured upon their heads will be scalding water, by which is melted that within their bellies and [their] skins. And for [striking] them are maces of iron.

[Surah al Hajj s.22 v.19-21]

And you will see the criminals that Day bound together in shackles, Their garments of liquid pitch and their faces covered by the Fire.

[Surah Ibrahim s.14 v.49-50]

And [for them are] fair women with large, [beautiful] eyes, the likenesses of pearls well-protected,

[Surah al Waqiah s.56 v.22-23]

The Prophet said :Were a woman among the women of Paradise to gaze upon the earth, she would light up the space between them and fill it with the scent of perfume. Her veil is better than the world and everything in it.

[Sahih al-Bukhari 6568]

The Messenger of Allah said: “The believer, when he desires a child in Paradise, he shall be carried (in pregnancy), born, and complete his aging in an hour as he desires.”

[Jami’ at-Tirmidhi 2563]

Abdullah ibn Qays رضي الله عنه reported: The Messenger of Allah , said, “Verily, the people of Hellfire will weep so much that if ships tried to sail in their tears, they would sail. Then they will weep blood in place of their tears.”

[Al Mustadrak 8895]

For them who have done good is the best [reward] and extra

[Surah Yunus s.10 v.26]

It was narrated that Suhaib رضي الله عنه said:

« The Messenger of Allah recited this Verse: {For those who have done good is the best reward and even more.} Then he said: ‘When the people of Paradise enter Paradise, and the people of the Fire enter the Fire, a caller will cry out: “O people of Paradise! You have a covenant with Allah and He wants to fulfill it.” They will say: “What is it?” Has Allah not made the Balance (of our good deeds) heavy, and made our faces bright, and admitted us to Paradise and saved us from Hell?” Then the Veil will be lifted and they will look upon Him, and by Allah, Allah will not give them anything that is more beloved to them or delightful, than looking upon Him. »

[Sahih Muslim 181, Sunan Ibn Majah 187]

Anas bin Malik رضي الله عنه narrated that the Messenger of Allah said:

“Whoever asks Allah Paradise three times, Paradise says: ‘O Allah, admit him into Paradise’, and whoever seeks refuge from the Fire three times, the Fire says: ‘O Allah, save him from the Fire.'”

[Sunan Tirmidhi 2572]

Allāhumma innī as’aluka ‘l-jannah

wa a`ūdhu bika minan-nār.

O Allah, I ask You for Paradise, and I seek Your protection from the Fire.

[Sunan Ibn Majah 3846, Abu Dawud 1480]
